Aims: 1. to teach children to use the new words in their speech;

          2. to develop skills of writing and speaking about their future;

            3. to bring up to respect and to be kind to each other.

The visual aids: pictures, inter active board, cards.

 

The Basic part

 I Organization moment. (7 min.)

  1. Greeting. Good morning, class! How are you? Sit down, please. Who is on duty today? Who is absent today?

 

2. Warm up. Find the word.

T is exactly in the middle.

W is in one letter before T.

A is between Wand T.

R is at the end.

E is between T and R.

 

II The main part (33 min.)

  1. Introduction.

To tell the children the theme and the aims of the lesson.

 

  1. Vocabulary.

Look at the blackboard there are some words, you should rewrite them with translation and practice the pronunciation: student, computer programmer, actor, model, teacher, actress, pilot, secretary, architect, engineer, doctor.

 

  1. Reading.

Look at the text, read it and try to understand what this text is about. Then retell to each other.

MY FUTURE PROFESSION

     What I would like to become?  This question passels me greatly. Every job has its elements of difficulties and interest. I think that nearly all the professions are very important in life.  But to choose the right occupation is very difficult, because we must take in to consideration many factors.  We must consider our personal taste and our kind of mind.  At the same time we must satisfy the requirements of our society and people’s needs in one profession or another.

     The end of school is the beginning of an independent life, the beginning of a more serious examination.  In order to pass that very serious exam we must choose the road in life which will help us best to live and work. Each boy and girl has every opportunity to develop mind and use knowledge and education received  at  school.  Some may prefer to work in factories or works, others want to go into construction:  to take part in building power stations and new towns. Many opportunities to work and to satisfy at the same time the requirements of the society and your own personal interest are offered in the sphere of the services transport, communications and many others.

     I have a specially liking for became a programmist. I like this profession because it very interesting.

 

  1. Speaking.

In pairs and talk to your partner about your future life, use the new words.  

 

  1. Time to relax.

 

 

                                            

 

  1. Writing.

Look at the cards which I gave you, there are some sentences with the gaps; your task is to put these verbs in the Past Simple or Past Continuous.

  1. Last year we _____ (buy) a cottage.
  2. As he ____ (sign0 the documents, someone ___ (tap) him on the shoulder.
  3. In the evening we ___ (go) for a walk. The city was still very busy. Trolley buses ___ (move) slowly carrying people who were tired after work. Children _____ (play) on the streets, they ____ (seem) to be in no hurry to go home.
  4. She recently ____ (have) her wedding party.
  5. What ____ (do) when you ____ (meet) your husband?

 

  1. Writing.

Look at the blackboard there are some words and sentences. Your task is to fill the gaps in the sentences below with a better adjective from the box. You can use each adjective once only.

 

 

III The end of the lesson.

  1. Home task. Open your diaries and write down the home task. Your home task will be to write about their future profession, to learn the new words.
  2. Putting marks. You were very activity today at the lesson. Give me your diaries for putting marks.
  3. Reflex ion. What did you do at the lesson?

                   What did we talk about?

                   What the new words did you have today?
