Theme: Present Simple
The educational aim: To practice using the Present Simple; to practice using the
kinds of questions; to practice pronunciation of some difficult
words; to practice answering the questions;
The development aim: pupils get new words; to be able correctly to read new words; to
develop speech gift; development of skills of dialogue; to continue
to acquire skills on grammar; to attach norms of linguistics;
expansion of knowledge of pupils about language; to raise interest
of the pupils to study of English language;
The up-bringing aim: to educate the feeling of international friendship and to work
with creatively.
Visual aids: an active board, pictures, cards .
Vocabulary topics: verbs, every day activities
The Procedures of the lesson:
I. Organization moment:
Greetings with pupils.
Short conversation about theme.
II. Check up the homework.
Speaking about prepositions. Answering the questions.
III. Warm –up.
Do you like playing tennis? – Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.
What sport games do you like to play?
What kind of questions do you know?
IV. Presentation the Present Simple:
I, You, We, They -V
He, She, It – Vs. ——— usually, often, normally, every morning, evening/
Get- gets, work- works [s] do-does, go-goes [z]
Wash-washes, brush-brushes [iz] read-reads, play- plays [z]
I get up at 7 o’clock. You go to school in the morning.
He walks his dog. She watches TV in the evening. Etc.
V. Practice.
Doing the grammar exercise – using the electronic textbook.
Game: “ How many words do you know?”
Class divided into two groups. In each group goes to the black board and writes the verbs.
VII. Brainstorming.
Pupils in each group must make up the combination of words such as: with the verb play, go, do, ride –
mountaineering, cricket, tennis, rugby, yoga, weight lifting, a bike, swimming, running, football, basketball, a horse, a bicycle, volleyball, gymnastics, judo, jumping, windsurfing.
VIII. Make the Posters.
A. Two group must make the posters about working day.
B. They must speak what they composed and answering the questions.

Each group has a checker, that he/ she counts the pupils’ scores and at the end of the lesson he / she speaks about pupils’ total scores.

There are 4 seasons in a year: Winter, spring, summer and autumn.
Listening to the poem and learning it.
Spring is green,
Summer is bright.
Autumn is yellow,
Winter is white.
Presentation the months:
January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December.
There are 3 months in each season.
Winter months are: December, January, February.
Spring months are : March, April, May.
Summer months are: June, July, August.
Autumn months are: September, October, November.
