Students respond to greeting and take their places

MAIN PART

 Listen and read. Do you know any other puppet shows? Tell the class. Ex 29

  • Ask them, in L1 if necessary, to tell you what they are and if they have ever been to a puppet show.
  • Pupils’ books open. Ask the pupils to look at the pictures. Have a picture discussion

"Just Dance Kids"

Pupils’ books closed. Put the pictures of puppets on the board.

The pupils listen and follow the texts in their books. Ask the pupils to tell you if they know any other puppet shows. If not you can ask them to go online and find one or provide them with the name of a puppet show they can research.

If learners have studied the new words then they raises the thumb up and if not yet can explore new words the thumb down.

Formative assessment
