Teacher greets students, students respond to greeting and take their places

Thank you, students! I’m glad to see you. Today we have unusual lesson because there are guests and teachers in our classroom. And you must to show them your knowledge. Ok. Today you will work in groups, so you have to share on three groups. For it I have the cards with pictures, every student should take the picture.

What is shown on the cards?

-Eyes.

- Yes, you are right. All of you see eyes, but the color of eyes different. Who has got brown eyes sit in the first group, who has got black eyes sit in the second group, who has got blue eyes sit in the third group.


Checking up the hometask

Students, open your book and copybooks, let’s checking up the homework.

Practice

  1. Teacher asks students to open their books at page and look at the photos.

Students write today’s date in their copybooks.

  • Teacher introduce pupils with new words.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

AGE – young, middle aged, old

GENERAL APPEARANCE – handsome, pretty, ugly.

HEIGHT – tall, medium-height, short

WEIGHT – fat, slim, thin

FACE – round, oval, square, long.

EYES – big, small, black, grey, blue, brown.

HAIR – straight, curly, wavy, black, brown, fair.

NOSE – big, long, small, snub.

EARS – big, small, pointed, protruding.



  1. Teacher shows Cartoons characters and students describe them.

  • Teacher reads the description, students should find the names of characters.

Teacher reads out the example sentences.



  1. Teacher gives the description with missed words; students should find these words and write.






Teacher helps students do this exercise by encouraging them to think. T asks students to work in pairs to look in the text to find the Modifiers.

Exercise 5 on page 22 of the Workbook for homework. Students write five sentences about people they know with the modifiers in A and the adjectives in B.


REFLECTION

Teacher gives students the pictures of ships. Students color the ships with green if they like the lesson, if they don’t like the lesson they color ship with red.



Teacher evaluates students.
