“A MAN - IT SOUNDS PERFECT”

Цели:

1. Формирование эстетического вкуса;

2. Воспитать стремление помогать людям;

3. Повышение мотивации в изучении английского языка;

4. Развитие всех навыков владения английским языком.

5. Закрепление темы «Одежда. Внешность»

Ребята до мероприятия делятся на две команды, придумывают названия своим командам, девиз и эмблему. В ходе занятия ребята будут выполнять разнообразные задания, чтобы получить одну или несколько букв из ключевого слова. Кто заработает больше букв, тот получит ключевое слово с толкованием.

Ход занятия:

- Hello, dear friends. I’m glad to see you here. Today we’ll speak about “ real beauty ”. We’ll discuss such things as “ taste”, “manners”, “fashion”, “appearance”.

- You got the task last week, so let’s listen to the leaders of your teams.

-Thank you. Before we start, let me see if you know what these words mean:

-Well you see that your knowledge is not quite complete. After each task you will get one or several letters. The team which get more letters will learn the key-word with right definition.

-Today we’ll travel to one interesting country – “Beauty”. This is a magic country. We’ll seee a lot of new towns but I hope some of them are well-known to you. I hope you will enjoy our trip. And the first town we are going to visit is Taste.

-Oh, dear. A terrible thing happened! A virus came to this town a month ago and all citizens got ill. God’s sake they are all right now, but …They have forgotten the most important thing in their life: what is taste? Your duty is to help them. Here are some tasks for you to do which will help the citizens to recover.

WHO IS TO BLAME?

This is a story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody and Nobody. There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.

One day our famous modeller created a wonderful, magnificent collection. But all his masterpieces were of a small size. We wanted them to fit us. So we all decided to keep to a strict diet. We did not eat at all. But the result was that we did only harm to our health!”
