Warm up | We are very glad to see you today. Welcome to our competition! I would like you to guess this crossword and you will know the theme of the competition. « Rainbow » . Look at the word that we have got. Read it please, in chorus. Yes, you are quite right. The word is «Rainbow» Why we call it so? Look at this Globus. It has many colours as the rainbow, because there are many different countries with its nationalities, traditions, of course languages. Presenter 1: The quotation made by the President of our Republic can be a slogan or epigraph for today`s lesson. Kazakhstan should be famous as cultural country which uses three languages: Kazakh – official language; Russian – language of interethnic communication; English – language of global economics Our competition consists of 5 rounds. 1. Introduction 2. The captains competition 3. Find the antonyms 4. Riddles 5. Find words We must choose our jury - There are teams from countries here`s. Kazakhstan. Great Britain. Let`s welcome them.Each team calls their names, motto, sings their songs and introduce with their emblems. Each team`s captain answers the questions in three languages.

You will be given the sheets with adjectives. Find the antonyms and translate. Fast, Small ,Clean ,Interesting , Expensive ,Safe, Good, Old,Hot,Difficult, Beautiful,Strong. Three members from each team go to the blackboard and read riddles. Riddles are in three languages. Guess the riddles and name the answer in three languages. Look at the interactive – board. Find the words and translate them into three languages. In the 2nd stage our pupils should find the missed words in the riddles and have to translate them into Kazakh and Russian. On the 6th stage «Ең жақсы сөйлеушілер – The best speakers» Тақтадағы қалташадан суреттерді алып, оны ағылшын тілінде бейнелеу. It’s the language of progressive science and technology, trade and Cultural relations, commerce and business. English is spoken by more than 350 million people. Geographically, it’s the most widespread language on earth. Leader: Now it’s time to say results of our competition, while our juries count your scores let’s sing a song in three languages.
