Я, как учитель английского языка с 20-летним стажем, с первых дней работы в школе, вне рабочей программы как можно часто провожу данную разминочную работу в ситуациях неофициального общения с учащимися. Это - диалог-расспрос, в котором участвует весь класс (11 – 12) учеников. Один ученик в роли дежурного отвечает на вопросы своих одноклассников. Они учатся начинать, поддерживать и заканчивать разговор. Они выражают свои пожелания, реагируют на них, выражают свои согласия или отказ. Они  умеют запрашивать и сообщать фактическую информацию И, наконец, они выражают свои чувства и свою точку зрения. Я уверена, что именно устная речь (диалогическая речь) обогащает и сближает  собеседников.

Разминочная работа в ситуациях неофициального общения на уроках английского языка

1. (Forms 2-11).

Teacher: - Who is on duty today?

Pupil 1: - I am on duty today.

Teacher: - What is your name?

Pupil 1: - My name is _________.

Teacher: - What is your second name?

Pupil 1: -My second name is ___________.

Teacher: - How old are you?

Pupil 1: - I am ____year old.

Teacher: - What are you?

Pupil1: - I am a schoolgirl / a schoolboy.

Teacher - Who is absent today?

Pupil 1: - _____ is absent today.

- _______ and ______ are absent today.

- All are present today.

Teacher: - What was your home task for today?

Pupil 1: - Ex. 5 on page 25 orally, ex. 7 on page 26 in writing.

Teacher: - Thank you.

Pupil 1: - Not at all.







2. (Forms 5-11).

Pupil 2: - May I ask you some questions, Pupil 1?

Pupil 1: - Yes, you may.

Pupil 2: - What day is it today?

Pupil 1: - Today is Monday.

Pupil 2: - What date is it today?

Pupil 1: - Today is the 20-th of January.

Pupil 2: - What season is it now?

Pupil 1: - It is winter.

Pupil 2: - What is the weather like today?

Pupil 1: - The weather is snowy and frosty.

Pupil 2: - Do you know a poem about seasons?

Pupil 1: - Yes, certainly.

Pupil 2: - Recite it, please.

Pupil 1: - Spring is green,

Summer is bright,

Autumn is yellow,

Winter is white.

Pupil 2: - Thanks.









3. ( Forms 6-11 ).

Pupil 3: - I have some questions, Pupil 1.

Pupil 1: - O`key.

Pupil 3: - How many subjects do you study?

Pupil 1: - We study 16 subjects.

Pupil 3: - What is your favourite subject?

Pupil 1: - My favorite subject is English.

Pupil 3: - What do you like in studying English?

Pupil 1: - I like to learn English proverbs.

Pupil 3: - Oh, so do I. Recite your favourite proverbs, please.

Pupil 1: - With pleasure. Live and learn. Knowledge is power. Better late than

never.

Pupil 3: - Thank you very much.

Pupil 1: - Don`t mention it. And what do you like in studying English?

Pupil 3: - I like to learn English idioms.

Pupil 1: - Oh, it`s wonderful. Tell some of them, if it is not difficult for you.

Pupil 3: - Gladly! To sit on the phone. Hungry as a hunter. To rise with the sun.

Pupil 1: - It`s a pleasure.













4. ( Forms 6-11 ).

Pupil 4: - Pupil 1, let`s speak about your family.

Pupil 1: - Let`s.

Pupil 4: - Who and what are your parents?

Pupil 1: - My father`s name is ______. He is a doctor. My father is 50. He is a

handsome and a serious man. My father likes to read newspapers.

My mother`s name is ____. She is a teacher. My mother is 45. She is a

kind and a careful woman. My mother likes to cook and to watch TV.

Pupil 4: - How many brothers and sisters have you?

Pupil 1: - I have one sister.

Pupil 4: - Is she a pupil or a student?

Pupil 1: - She is a student.

Pupil 4: - Do you like her?

Pupil 1: - Yes, of course! Her name is Ann. She is a pretty and a cheerful girl. Ann

often supports me. She likes to sing and dance. I love her very much.

Pupil 4: - So do I.

















5. ( Forms 9-11 ).

Pupil 5: - As far as I understand you, one of your favourite proverbs is “ Live and

learn” , isn`t it?

Pupil 1: - Yes, it is.

Pupil 3: - We learn and study different subjects to get prepared for our future

profession . What profession do you like?

Pupil 1: - I like the profession of a doctor.

Pupil 3: - Why do you choose this profession?

Pupil 1: - I think the doctor`s profession is the most useful and noble one.

Pupil 3: - Is it necessary to study a lot to become a well-qualified specialist?

Pupil 1: - Yes, of course. I also understand that this profession requires great

responsibility because it deals with the most precious thing that a

person has – with his health.

Pupil 3: - Good luck!

Pupil 1: - Thanks!

















6 (Forms 8-11).

Teacher: - Boys and girls! I want you to speak about English-speaking countries.

Pupil 6, begin please.

Pupil 6: - What English-speaking countries do you know?

Pupil 1: - The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the United

States of America, the Commonwealth of Australia, New Zealand and

Canada.

Pupil 7: - How many parts does the UK consist of?

Pupil 1: - The UK consists of 4 parts: England, Scotland, Wales and Northern

Ireland.

Pupil 8: - What are their capitals?

Pupil 1: - London is England`s capital, Edinburgh is Scotland`s capital, Belfast is Wales`s

capital and Cardiff is Northern Ireland`s capital.

Pupil 9: - What is the capital of the USA?

Pupil 1: - Washington is .

Pupil 10: - What is the capital of New Zealand?

Pupil 1: - Wellington is New Zealand`s capital.

Pupil 2: - What is the capital of Canada?

Pupil 1: - Canada`s capital is Ottawa.

Pupil 3: -What is the capital of the Commonwealth of Australia?

Pupil 1: -Canberra is.

Teacher: - Let`s speak about their symbols. Count them , please.

Pupil 1: -The red rose is England`s symbol, the thistle is Scotland`s symbol, the daffodil

is Wale`s symbol and the shamrock is Northern Ireland`s symbol.

Pupil 4: -What is the USA`s symbol?

Pupil 1: - The sea eagle is.

Pupil 5: - What are symbols of the Commonwealth of Australia, New Zealand and

Canada?

Pupil 1: - A kangaroo is Australia`s symbol, a kiwi is New Zealand`s and a maple sheet is

Canada`s symbol.

Teacher: -That`s about all there is to English-speaking countries. Thank you very much.
