Hello. My name is Ann and I would like to tell you about my country.
I am from Russia. The Russian Federation is the largest country in the world. It covers the eastern part of Europe and the northern part of Asia. I live in the capital city, Moscow.
Russia is a beautiful country with lots to see.
There are steppes in the south, plains and forests in the midland, tundra and taiga in the north, highlands and deserts in the east. There are over 2 million rivers in Russia. Thousands of tourists from all over the world come to Russia to visit the Kremlin, Red Square, the Bolshoi Theatre, the Hermitage museum, Peterhof, the cities of the Golden Ring, Kizhi Island, Mount Elbrus, Lake Baikal, Karelia and Altay regions.
Russia is a wonderful place to live but also to visit.
