Peculiarities of the Past Passive Voice

In the Passive Voice structures the preposition

saves its place after the verb. The most common

verbs with prepositions are:

to send for, to object to, to insist on, to refer to,

to laugh at, to listen to, to wait for.

e.g.: Somebody sent for Lena. ----
