The Residence of Father Frost

Great Ustyug is the Motherland of Russian Father Frost. It is located in the Vologda region. The town of Ustyug is very old. The population of the town is 35 thousand people. There are many churches in it. Ustyug has a lot of museums. It is the residence of Father Frost.

The nature in Ustyug is lovely. It is very cold. The snow lies white and thick. Fir-trees and pines are covered with snow.

Many tourists come to Ustyug to visit Father Frost’s residence. What fun it is to sledge, to ski, to skate, to play snowballs and make snowmen. Father Frost’s house is beautifully decorated.

In Father Frost’s residence you can meet not only Father Frost and his beautiful deer called Alexey Morozovich but also a lot of favourite book characters. It is very light and cosy inside the house.

There are a lot of interesting books in Father Frost’s library. In his bedroom there is a large bed with 7 pillows on it. There is a museum of presents in the residence. It has a lot of presents from all over the world.
