Where would you take him in Kazakhstan?
What would you like him to see?
There are 3 ancient places in The Silk Road:
1 Taraz
2 Turkestan
3 Aksy-Zhabagly Nature Reserve
• Look at the example with the class. Point out to the students that they need to write three or four words for the answers in this exercise.
Ask students to work on the translations in pairs or small groups, and then discuss with the whole class.
Ask the questions about The Silk Road and write short notes on the board as students give their ideas. Use the discussion to introduce the key words
