Nowadays spaceships may be launched from the Earth and return or not
to return to it .Manned or unmanned (automatic) spaceships of nowadays
are used for space exploration and bring back information on space.
A new era in space communication opened on April 12. 1961.
Soviet cosmonaut major Yuri Gagarin –the first man in space –travelled
Around the Earth at the velocity 17,000 miles per hour at altitudes
ranging from 181 to 327 kilometers. The radio controlled spaceship
named Vostok was equipped with two –way radio transmitters operating
on short and ultra short waves.
German Titov was the second Soviet cosmonaut ,who on August 6,1961,
rode the spaceship Vostok 2 seventeen around the Earth in 25 hours
and 11 minutes ,communicated with the Earth by radiophone.
