Some of the sports are international:running, high jumping, long jumping.Other events are typically Scottish : tossing the caber, throwing the hammer, putting the stone, bagpipes and dancing traditional Highland dances.Every August and September the Edinburg military tattoo takes place.For 90 minutes 600 people perform under flood lights.
