The Russian Federation is my MOTHERLAND

Russia is one of the largest countries in the world. The vast territory of Russia lies in the eastern part of Europe and the northern part of Asia. Russia is washed by twelve seas and three oceans.

Russia is very rich in forests, from high mountains to deep valleys. The main mountains are the Urals, the Caucasus and the Altai. On its territory there are a lot of deep rivers.

For breakfast people in Russia usually eat omelette and sandwiches.

For dinner they eat borsh and pelmeni.

Russian people enjoy drinking tea with lemon and Kvas.

Alexander Pushkin,a famous poet, was born in Russia 1799. Juriy Gagarin made the first flight to the space in 1961. A famous composers Chaikovskiy,Rimskiy-Korsakov composed great music here too.

Novosibirsk has many scientific institutions.
