Procedure of the lesson:
I. Organization moment.

II. Phonetic drill. Spring is green,
Summer is bright.
Autumn is yellow,
Winter is white.
III. Checking up the home task.
A short story about a favourite animal.: the pupils are to make up a story about their favourite animal describing its size, colour, what it likes to eat, what it can do, etc.
IV. Presentation of new material.
Pupils work with pictures of different plants.
-New vocabulary: plant, tree, flower, aloe, snowdrop, sunflower, rose, chamomile, tulip, violet, lily, to plant, to water, garden, grass, pot flowers.
The teacher shows the pictures and name the names of plants. then pupils repeat after the teacher in chorus. then they describe the pictures speaking about plants, their colour and beauty.
V. Reading.
Read the story and rewrite all unknown words.
VI. Doing exercises.
Take the cards, read and translate the following sentences.
There are many trees and flowers in the world. Every day I help my mother and water the pot flowers. Do you like roses or tulips? My grandmother likes to plant sunflowers in her garden. The boys do not like flowers, only girls and mothers are glad to take flowers as a present. Snowdrops grow in spring, don’t they? Aloe and chamomile are often used in medicine. Our teacher likes lilies.
