Цели проекта:

Дальнейшее знакомство с реалиями страны изучаемого языка(изучение данной темы позволяет углубиться в изучение культуры Британии), а именно узнать, как любят и заботятся англичане о домашних питомцах, каких домашних питомцев они предпочитают больше всего и почему они являются неотъемлемой частью жизни британцев.

• найти и обработать дополнительную литературу и другие источники информации с использованием ИКТ
• найти информацию о том, почему британцы так ценят и любят домашних питомцев и считают их членами своей семьи.
• что означает английская поговорка: «Любишь меня- люби мою собаку»
• какие породы собак наиболее популярны среди британцев.
• сделать подборку высказываний о домашних питомцах.
• сочинить собственный стих и написать сочинение о своём друге- питомце.
• выполнить проект и оформить его в виде презентации, чтобы полнее раскрыть актуальность выбранной темы.
• организовать и привлечь группу поддержки для реализации социально- общественной значимости проекта.

Pets are not just for Christmas. They are for life.

I`m crazy about dogs.

The animals are always there for us. For example: a guidedog and a hunter.

Most of Englishmen prefer dogs. Let me introduce the most popular dog breeds:

Poodle, Dobermann, Newfoundland.

A poem about my pet.

I have a dog. His name is Rex.

He can do this, he can do that.

Look at my dog! Tricks he can do.

I love my dog. He loves me too.

My shaggy friend .

As for me, I have got a dog. His name is Rex. Rex is big and very clever. My dog is black.

His eyes are blue. His ears are not very big. My dog can run fast and do commands very well. He likes playing with me. Rex eats meat and fish. I like it very much.

Favourite pets for the British are not just a hobby or a pastime. It is one of the ways to demonstrate your individuality and to get attention. Pets can change your life and even your character. The owner becomes kinder, healthier and more communicative. Our best friends take part in different competitions and exibitions.

I know there are

a lot of hotels for dogs in Britain.

They are expensive

but very comfortable

for them.

A rescue home

It is the first oldest rescue home for pets in England

This organization helps homeless dogs and looks for a new home for them.Thanks to rescue homes, there are no homeless dogs on the streets. In England people rarely buy puppies: they go to rescue homes and find a dog there.

There are fifty-six(56) fire fighters in Britain. They are ready to save any animal which gets into trouble. For example:

The fire fighters of the UK saved about seventeen thousand (17,000) animals last three years.

Conclusion: The British love their pets very much. Every family takes care of them. Many state and private organizations(For example: « Dog`s and cat`s island»,RSPCA) pay serious consideration to this problem that`s why there are no homeless pets on the streets in Britain.

I want to hope that everyone in our country will be more responsible for the pets like in Britain. I think our streets, yards and parks will be cleaner and nicer.
