Цель урока :

- введение новой лексики по теме "Мой дом" и первичное её закрепление в устной речи;

-совершенствование навыков изучающего чтения и диалогической речи;

-ознакомление с речевым образцом There is/ are.

Оборудование:

демонстрационная таблица по теме "There is/are", карточки с транскрипционными значками, картинки по теме "Мой дом".

Repeat the poem

Lion, lion, lazybones, Lion had two telephones. Lion rings the lioness up, And invites her to hunt.

Listen and learn:

Say how many rooms the Browns have got. Name the rooms.

Example: The Browns have got ... rooms. They have got a living room, ...

1) Listen and act out the dialog from ex. 4 on p. 21 2) Ask your classmates and fill in the table.

Say how many rooms you have got. Name them.

Example: I have got three rooms in my flat. I have got a bathroom in my flat. There is a bedroom in my flat.  There are two bedrooms in my friend's flat.  There is no TV in my room.  There are no posters in my room. 

Rex tells Tiny about the Brown's house. But he misses some words. Help Tiny to fill in the words.
