She is a famous British novelist. Her fantasy books about Harry Potter brought her world popularity. They became the best-selling books in the history of literature. These books have become the basis for a series of films, which were also highly successful. The writer was born on July 31st, 1965, in Yate, which is north-east of Bristol.
She started writing fictional stories rather early, at the age of nine. Her first listener was her younger sister Dianne. I read only two books about Harry Potter.
The main characters are Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley.
The first book tells us about a boy. He had no parents. He lived with his aunt and uncle. Nobody loved Harry Potter, because he was so different from them. He was alone and not happy. When he was 11, he got a letter; he was invited to a school named Hogwarts. It was a magical school.
Harry Potter starts the second year in Hogwarts. Elf Dobby warns Harry of the danger that awaits him there, and requests no longer go back to school. Young wizard should not be an elf counsel and witnesses the mysterious events unfolding in Hogwarts. Soon, Harry and his friends learn of the existence of the Chamber of Secrets and face new adventures, trying to defeat the dark forces.
J. K. Rowling chooses wonderful setting for her stories. She created a truthful fantasy world that works in parallel to our own. As well as Harry we go to school, play sports, make and lose friends. Harry Potter books are full of surprises and jokes which make them more exciting every minute. I would recommend these books to everyone who has a very good imagination

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stoneis the first novel in theHarry Potterseries and J. K. Rowling's debut novel, first published in 1997 by Bloomsbury. The plot follows Harry Potter, a young wizard who discovers his magical heritage as he makes close friends and a few enemies in his first year at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. With the help of his friends, Harry faces an attempted comeback by the dark wizard Lord Voldemort, who killed Harry's parents, but failed to kill Harry when he was just a year old.
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
The second novel in the Harry Potter series, written by J. K. Rowling. The plot follows Harry's second year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, during which a series of messages on the walls of the school's corridors warn that the "Chamber of Secrets" has been opened and that the "heir of Slytherin" would kill all pupils who do not come from all-magical families. These threats are found after attacks which leave residents of the school "petrified" (frozen like stone). Throughout the year, Harry and his friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger investigate the attacks.
