PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) -organizations fighting for animal rights. Its slogan is "animals are not ours to eat, wear, experiment on, use for entertainment or abuse in any way."PETA was founded by Alex Pacheco and Ingrid Newkirk in 1980 as an organization of non-commercial nature. PETA has 300 employees worldwide. They say it has three million members and supporters and it is the largest animal rights group in the world. The principle of animal welfare organizations is the belief that animals have rights.According to supporters of the organization, animals can suffer. Therefore people do not have the right to use animals for food, clothing, entertainment, experiences, and any other purpose. PETA pays special attention to four main areas of treatment of people with pets: industry agriculture, animal experiments, the clothing market. Representatives of the organization believe that lulling homeless animals is more humanely than throwing them out in the street. Thanks for watching !
