I have a magic wand. This theme is for grade 1. In the lesson, pupils are able to learn magic colours. These colours are mixed others, so new ones appear.

Hello my dear pupils. How are you? If you’re fine let’s begin our lesson. And today’s our lesson is about “I have a magic wand”. I think all of you like fairy tales and cartoons Do you like fairy tales? If yes let’s talk about it.  What’s your favorite fairy tales? Which fairy tales do you know with magic wand? Who is your favorite hero from this fairy tale?

Well my dears do you remember it? Yes, it’s “The Sleeping Beauty”. Now open your books on page 110 Take your colour pencils and a sheet of paper .

Activity 1 Play “Magic Colours”. Say that paints possess magic power. For example, if we mix two paints, there will appear absolutely different colour.

Activity 2 Play “Magic Wand”. The magic wand carries out any wishes, and only fantastic characters may have magic wands (you can make a stick yourself). Here we introduce the words “magic” and “wand”. Kind fairies are called Pari (in Uzbek) or Peri (in Russian). genies/jinns monsters (dev in Uzbek/ див in Russian). And let’s say: Genie/Jinn is good.  Pari/Peri is good.  Dev/Div is bad. Then all the girls repeat in chorus: I’m a pari/peri. I’m good. And all the boys repeat: I’m a genie/jinn. I’m good.

This game is a competation between jinns and peris. The pupils compete who will say more sentences using the structure. "I can...."

Homework: Colour the pictures on the right hand page (111) and speak about them. For example: This is a chick. It’s yellow. I like it, etc.. I have a magic wand.
