zero conditional
We use the so-called zero conditional when the result of the condition is always true, like a scientific fact.
Ifyou heat ice it melts.
The important thing about t he zero conditional is that the condition always has the same result.
We often use when instead of if , for example:
WhenI get up late, I miss my bus.
We can use unless=if ( I/he/you )don't/doesn't +V1
Unlesshe asks you politely, refuse to do any more work on the project.

We are thinking about a particular condition in the future, and the result of this condition. There is a real possibility that this condition will happen.
Ifit rains,I will stay at home.
Sometimes, we use shall, can or may instead of will .
If it's sunny this afternoon, we can play tennis.
if +Present Simple, will + base verb

If it's a nice day tomorrow, I'll go swimming.
