Where do tigers live?

• Tigers live in China and in Russia in the Far East.

• Tigers are good hunters and swimmers.

• Tigers are up to 3 metres long and weigh about 300 kg. Tigers are good mothers, cubs live with their mother 2-3 years.
• Tigers eat meat and drink water .

Tigers live 16-18 years. You can find their names in the Red Book. People must take special care of them. We must save wild animals.

Beautiful animal

• The fox is one of the most beautiful animals, because it has got a thick red coat and a long, bushy tail. It’s a long-haired animal.

Home

Its home is in the forest. It likes places with high grass. In the day-time the fox is in its home, and at night it hunts.

Food

• It eats meat, so it kills small animals such as mice, chickens and rabbits. The fox can eat birds and insects. And sometimes it eats green vegetables and fruit.

Good parents

The fox is a very clever animal.

The foxes are very loving parents. When cubs are born, the father brings food and water to

them and their mother.

The bottlenose dolphin is sometimes 3.7 meters long,

weighing more than six hundred thirty five kg. They are some of

the smartest creatures on earth.

The dolphin is a hunter that eats mostly fish and squid. It has a lot of sharp teeth.

The dolphin needs to breathe about every two minutes.

It can see in and out of the water. But more often it uses its ears to see the food. The dolphin is a very fast swimmer. They say that dolphins help sailors and swimmers.
