Тема “School Friends Are for Always”

Цели: - обогащение словарного запаса по теме «Друзья»;

- совершенствование монологической и диалогической речи; навыков чтения;

- воспитание чувства любви и уважения к друзьям.

Оборудование: учебник 7 класса (Enjoy English-4, Биболетова М. З.), интерактивная доска, проектор.

Ход урока.

I​ Организационный момент.

Stand up, please. Good morning, boys and girls. Sid down, please.

How are you?

II​ Речевая зарядка.

At last lesson we talked about ideal and non-ideal students. What do you think, who are the ideal students? And how can you describe non-ideal student?

Good. Thank you for answers.

III​ Проверка домашнего задания.

Well, let’s check up your homework, Ex. 48, p. 97.

You had to translate these sentences from Russian into English.

Who wants to read?

Viliya, please. OK, good.

So, check your sentences in the list. (слайд 1)

a) If you went to world championship, you would be the first.
b) If I were you, I wouldn’t miss History and Literature lessons.
c) If I were our Head Teacher, I wouldn’t expel students because of their bad behaviour. I would offer them extracurricular activities.
d) If all were polite and patient with each other, life would become more interesting and happier.

IV​ Изучение нового материала.

1. - Today we are going to speak about school friends and our theme is “School Friends Are for Always”. What does it mean in Russian? Write down the date and theme of lesson. (слайд 2)

- It’s known that school friends are friend are for always. Now, give your suggestions as possible to explain who is a good or a true friend.

- Use the expressions in the list. (слайд 3)

- At first, let’s read and translate them.

-Now, make your own sentences.

2. – Open your books, page 86, Ex. 106.

- Marat, read the task, please.

- What are the teenagers talking about?

- Who do you talk to if you have a problem?

3. – Look at the blackboard. There are some pictures. What do you think, what has happened between friends? Imagine that you are they are and make your own dialogue using these pictures and expressions from Ex.109, p.86 (слайд 4)

4. - There are some proverbs on the blackboard. Look through them and say what about they? Let’s read them. (слайд 5)

- A friend in need is a friend indeed. – Друг познается в беде.

- Old friends and old wine are best. – Старый друг лучше новых двух.

- A friend to all is a friend to none. – Приятелей много, да друга нет. И много друзей, да нет дружка.

- A friend is never known till needed. – Неиспытанный друг ненадежен. Без беды друга не узнаешь.

V​ Завершающий этап.

- It was a last task for you today. Write down your hometask, Ex. 50,p.97.- write 6-7 sentences about your best friend. (слайд 5)
