THEME: Lights, camera, action!

Purpose of the Lesson: Students will compare the job of actors and the job of stunt men, determine the differences between them.

1. Developing dialogic talk.  

- What is the video about?

 - Do you like to see films?

- What kind of films do you like and why?

- Who are your favourite film stars?

- Do all actors do all dangerous actions themselves? Why?

- Do you know any film stars who do their own stunts?

- Is it a good or bad thing that more stunts are done through the computer?

- Would you like to be a stunt person? Why/Why not?

II. Making groups.









Well, I want you to divide into two groups. I shall give you pictures. Take whichever one you like most. Now divide into groups by the theme of your pictures: Family, Disney heroes. Find your group and join them.

Boys, girls, now, it is time to see a video and guess our new theme

2. Critical Thinking. brainstorming with graphic organizers


Now, be ready for our exploratory talk. The first group will discuss advantages of being a stunt person, and the second group will discuss disadvantages of being a stunt person. You have several minutes to discuss. I want you to listen to everyone’s opinion on this issue.








Students will have an exploratory talk, and they will discuss their theme together. They will work in groups, they will search for the necessary words and information in their dictionaries or on the internet and try to use new words in their speech, then one of them will speak about their decisions

4.Dancing

First of all, we should take care of our health. If you are healthy you are able to do anything you want, that’s why we must do exercises every day. Now, we will dance a little.
