The theme:  Unit I. Healthy life. Language structures.

The aims of the lesson: 

Educational:

  1. to form skills in monologue and dialogue speech;
  2. to enrich students` vocabulary on the given theme;
  3. to teach them to find the words and expressions in my situations;

Developing: -to develop pupils` abilities in speaking through pair work, communicative competence, to develop their creative abilities through different kind of activities;

Bringing-up: -to teach pupils to value life, to live healthy life.

Form of the lesson: -non-traditional interactive lesson.

Methods: -individual work, group work, pair work, questions- answer

  5. Синтез (conclusion. home task)

The theme: Unit I. Healthy life. Language structures.

The aims of the lesson:

Educational:

  1. to form skills in monologue and dialogue speech;

  1. Organization moment:

Greeting pupils!

Dividing into groups:

Okay, pupils I`ll divide you into 2 groups, first of all I`ll give you cards with words, you have to make sentence from these words. Then you`ll sit on your place.

The 1st group is “HEALTH”.

The 2nd group is “SPORT”.


And each groups have LEADER/WRITER/SPEAKER/TIME-KEEPER.


I`ll give you some questions and you have to answer to this questions and we try to find who is LEADER.


- A person who gives us medical help (a doctor).

-A place where we get medical help (a hospital).

-A place where we buy medicine (chemist`s).


Each groups have to write own group`s rules:

  1. Don`t be late!

  2. Listen to each other!

  3. Dream big!

  4. Doing tasks in your time!

  5. Reading, speaking, writing in English!

Ex:1 p 29/30. (read three short texts. match them to the sport).

Pupils, I have got a puzzle for you. Here it is. If you solve this puzzle, you`ll know our Unit theme:
