Тема: Видео урок-конкурс «Рождество»

Тип урока: урок повторения и обобщения

Оборудование: интерактивная доска, компьютер, мультимедийный проектор, презентация, видеоролик; раздаточный материал, аудиозапись.

Цель урока: развивать иноязычную коммуникативную компетенцию учащихся.

Задачи:

-закрепление лексики по теме «Рождество»;

- развитие навыков аудирования;

-тренировка лексических и грамматических навыков;

- тренировка навыков говорения;

Ход урока

1.Warmer (Предложить учащимся разделиться на 3 группы, после каждого задания подводится итог, за каждые правильные ответы получают сосульку, мотивация работы в группах и участие в конкурсах)

1.3 Look at the diagram and write definitions for the noun compounds with Christmas

Example: Christmas card: a card that you send to your friends and family at Christmas.

Christmas pudding: a sweet food made with dried fruits and spices, eaten at Christmas

Christmas Eve: the day or evening before Christmas Day.

Christmas cracker: a tube of coloured paper given at Christmas which makes a sudden sharp noise when two people pull it apart. It contains a small present, paper hat and a joke.

Christmas carol: a traditional song sung at Christmas.

Christmas stocking: a large sock that children hang on their bed the night before Christmas that is filled with presents while they sleep.

1.4 Now look please at the word CHRISTMAS. Try to find nouns connected with this holiday and begin from each letter. But the words must be written correctly. (C-carol; H-holy; R- reindeer; I-ice; S-snowman; T – tree; M –mistletoe; A - apple ; S –snowflake)
