Short conversation is teacher and pupil on duty. Talking about the seasons, weather, and date of the day.

 T - Look at our planet. It looks upset. Can you guess why? (There may be some problems)

Pupil(P) - It has got problems.

T - What problems of the environment do you know?

Ps - Pollution, litter, animals and plants become extinct …

T - Very good. Look at the picture and guess what problem we are going to speak about today?

P - Animals in danger.

T - You are right; we are going to discuss endangered animals and try to help solve the problem.

T–«Дети, вы знаете что многие страны борятся, чтоб сохранить нашу планету, открывают различные организации по защите природы как Гринпис,Жасыл Ел, проводят мероприятия по сохранение окружающей среды, и знаете ли вы что и в нашей стране проводятся большое мероприятие, как вы думаете какое?»

And our second theme: “Expo 2017 Astana”, let’s read the text about expo.

• Expo 2017 is an International Exposition, it starts in June 10 and finishes in September 10, 2017 in Astana.

• The expo's theme is "Future Energy“, how do we save the energy.

• Around 2-3 million people visit Astana on Expo

Если раньше «Экспо» отмечались выдающимися, то в последние десятилетия всемирные выставки стали переключаться с технологических вопросов на проблемы экологии и взаимодействия человека с природой: «Экспо-1998» в Лиссабоне с тематикой «Океаны — наследство будущего», «Экспо-2000» в Ганновере - «Человек, природа, технологии», «Экспо-2005» в Нагое -  «Мудрость природы», «Экспо-2008» в Сарагосе -  «Вода и сбалансированное развитие», «Экспо-2010» в Шанхае «Лучший город — лучшая жизнь».

Экспо-2017 года в  Астане станет первой выставкой мирового масштаба.

Замысел проекта «Энергия будущего» заключается в том, чтобы привлечь внимание общественности к решениям и способам, обеспечивающим управление устойчивыми источниками энергии. Эти способы направлены на: борьбу с изменением климата и снижение выбросов углекислого газа;

1.It is  orange and it has a fine tail, it lives in the forest. It likes mice, chickens, rabbits.

2. It is  big and green, it can swim. It lives in the river. It eats other animals and fish. 

3. It can run. It can climb. It can catch a mouse.

4. It is  fat. It is   big and brown. It has   thick fur. It lives in the forest. It likes honey, sugar, sweets.

5. It is big. It lives on the farm. It gives us milk.

6. It is very biggest animal in the world. It lives in the ocean.

A: What did you do on weekend?

D: I watched the film about Expo 2017. Do you know what is it?

A: Yes, I hear about Expo, it is International exposition.

D: Do you know why we spend Expo?

A: No, I don’t know.

D: We spend Expo 2017 in Astana because of our nature, animals, birds, rivers, lakes are disappearing.

And People want to save the planet. For example our exposition theme is Future energy.

A: Yes, it is right. Do you want to go to Expo?

D: Yes I want, and you?

A: I don’t know, but I want very much.

Do you know that...

There were 300 species of elephants everywhere, today you can find them in Africa and India. Especially Asian and Indian elephants are in danger. Hunters have been killing elephants for meat, for their ivory tusks for a long time.

Today many elephants in Africa are dying because they do not have enough food to eat and space to live. Today only I million elephants live on the planet. Some day they may disappear.

Before the war time tigers had enough space to live. Today tropical forests became less and less. People have been hunting tigers since the war. They may disappear, too.

People hunt the blue whale for meat, fat and oil.

Thirty years ago there were 100.000, rhinos in Africa. Today there are probably less than 4,000. In Kenya, Zambia and rhino horn is a fortune.

Exercise 7 p. 56 Match the Kazakh word with the English. Read the text again and find them in the text above.

Now we play the game «Пойми меня».Капитан читает слово на выбранной карточке. Он должен объяснить его своей команде на английском языке,не употребляя однокоренных слов, чтобы тот догадался, о чем идет речь; остальные должны угадать. Чья команда быстрее запишет слово на листочке? (2 балла)

Слово 2-йкоманде:indanger – в опасности , hunter -охотник,disappear–исчезать

 - Let’s divide into groups. This part of the class (group 1, 2) will find what we Should Do and that part (group 3) what we Shouldn’t Do.

(Лучший ученик на уроке подходит к доске и меняет на изображении Земли грустную улыбку из магнитов на счастливую, остальные ученики берут маленькие картинки с животными в опасности, заранее прикрепленные к магнитам, и “населяют” ими нашу планету).
