Objectives:
- to present new vocabulary (types of films);
- to consolidate new vocabulary;
- to involve pupils into reading, writing, listening and communicative
activities;
- to develop pupils’ memory, imagination, attention and
creativeness;
Equipment: pictures (types of films), class CD1, books and workbooks “English Plus 3”, word puzzles for games, multimedia presentation, grammar table (Past Simple).
Procedure.
Introduction.
What do we usually do in our free time? Well, we read books and magazines, listen to music, walk with our friends and watch TV.
So, our lesson will be connected with TV programmes, especially with films. We’ll speak about types of films, work over some texts, do different tasks, speak about your favourite films.
Warming–up.
Let’s remember what kinds of films do you know. What actors do you know? What are your favourite actors?
