  • present discourse management expressing their own opinions and asking topic relevant questions with some support
  • use appropriate subject-specific vocabulary and syntax to talk about a limited range of general topics, and some curricular topics;
  • understand the main points of extended talk on a range of general and curricular topics

Targeted vocabulary: weird   trendy   keep up with    afford   sneakers

Success criteria

  • Learners have met learning objective 7.S 6 if they can

present discourse management expressing their own opinions and asking topic relevant questions during pair work;

display understandable talk with pronunciation to be clear

use topic related vocabulary;

present topic related information

  • Learners have met learning objective7. L4 if they can

identify at least two key words while listening and answer the questions about main points of extended talk correctly

    1. Ss review the quotes about fashion and add their own sentence to each quote while speaking:
  • “Life is too short to wear boring clothes”
  • “Smiles are always in fashion”
  • “Every generation laughs at the old fashions, but religiously follows the new”
  • “Style is a way to say who you are without having to speak”.
    1. Ss are introduced with the learning objectives and success
